Megan 2 ignition virgin 24C04

Good day members of DK

We have a 2005 model petrol Megan 2. The electronic steering lock is damaged so we have a second hand lock which we want to fit to the vehicle but it contains a 24C04 chip in it and we would like to find a virgin file for it. Is there any member who can help us with a virgin file please?

Hi There,
i once did the same for a renault espace 2003.
I wrote all FF the car automatically adapts the steering lock if there is no other vin inside.
I assume it is thesame for your car.
Save your original file first before you put all FF just in case or place new empty eeprom and keep the original one.

Ghauman thank you very much. I did exactly as you said and programmed all with FFFFFF and the car is perfect now. DK is such a great forum as there is always members willing to help. Thank you very much.
