Hi

I have a problem with Audi TT 3.2 V6

after jump start speedo show 999999
VCDS show no error codes

In live data speedo show 65535 miles.

dash
Magneti Marelli
8N2920980D

mcu: Motorolla MC68HC912DG128
I read eeprom and flash
Please check if CRC is correct

Do you know what original mileage was? Sounds like you have borrowed justy22's jump leads.

Is anybody have a eeprom from working speedo to compare?
or even set miles to 0 and program in VCDS?

maybe faulty MCU?

I need to be sure if that is hardware or software problem?

not hw problem
you need to reprogramm dash via obd with profi tool.
my dump is correct. made with abritus dump tool. seems that orig dump provided has something

Has the costomer verified this?

Thoight 65535 is vag no faults?

65535 is FFFF in hex, highest 16bit decimal number

No he don't remember what is original mileage
in Live data show (adv. mass values) present mileage is 65535. And he told me possible that is correct but he is not sure
ask me to put 50-55000

VCDS show - no fault codes.
I swap MCU today. solder new motorolla MCU and write eeprom from ALEXEI member and original flash and still the same.


Is there is any way I can fix this using programmer?
I will try tomorrow upload file from another member from this forum and check if mileage will be 9999999 or change.

Or even buy speedo from ebay, extract PIN and program using VCDS

Can you calculate Pin from my dump please

I bought a sec. hand speedo from ebay.
change mileage and program in to the car.
All working now.
