Renault Megane UCH fault

Hello,
I need help with Renault Megane 1.6 16v 2000 model.
The UCH changes it Immo type from 1 to 2, about every 6 to 12 months. And then the Car will not start with the immo light flashing. When i plug in the Clip diag Tool and change it back to type 1 the car starts and will be fine till next time. Is the fault software or hardware? Any help will be appreciate.:hmmmm2::banghead:

hello friend already had this same problem on a renault scenic ucbic changes the type of box 2 to 1 this happens when the battery drops to bottom of 8 voltos but do not know what is the solution, without being to keep the battery in good condition! or mount a more powerful battery of 65ah because the original must be 45 or 55ah! I have helped, I'm following your post to see if someone has a better solution!

it is as the colegue said above, get a good batery and i ll be safe till the voltage get low again. It is software problem, to solve it for good u can either program a f2 key on it and leave as it is or get rid of the immo..
