I always get this message when I click ECU ID.
I never use MPPS

I get this when not connected to a car or a bench PSU.

It doesn't see the supply voltage.......

i take it you have tried the cable on a different car-also have you powered the pins up on the bench,

also id have a look inside the cable-obd end...maybe bad soldering.

Yes, theres a problem somewhere. As mentioned above, check connections and maybe test with a bench psu, supply voltage direct.

I tried on bench too. Supply voltage is 12.3v at the end of the obd connector. Inside the MPPS there is only 11V. I measured the chips inside, all has got their 5V

The power supply resistor has too high resistance that is reason of only 11V measured... Try to put smaller resistance resistor on board connected to pin 16... It's just a guess...

I have from new over 3-4 mpps with this problem, no external voltage found.
Problem its from new as they come to me.
Supply is ok, i think its main processor problem .
when you buy 10-15 mpps then 3 or 4 have this problem ,and its aluminium case model.
I will check if external voltage OBD2 come to the Cylabs .

That's normal to have 11V there is a voltage drop because of the protection diode. you should use 13V on bench to get 12.x V.
The voltage is measured by processor with a resistor divisor, check if it's all well soldered. If it keeks doing the same, you have an AD port of mpps mcu damaged.
