View Full Version : AK 500 PROBLEM HELP PLS

i Have ak500 china :).
first i bought item and it was not working i send item back and then they send me new ak500.
Now i installed everythink.i set ak500 to com 2.(my computer has only one com port)but when i try to connect device software says trying com1 trying com2 trying com 1 and it goes.
If i close and open back ak500 from power button it accepts device and starts to work.
after that i am clickling mcu s and same problem starts.
if i dont close and open ak500 when computer scaning device its not working.
I tried with 3 different cable and 2 different computer.
operating systems are win 7 64 bit and xp 32 bit.
Same problem at different operating systems.
I need you help.

install the virtual com port driver and set com port to com 9

do you mean silabs cp2102 usb to uart driver?

i cleaned board compleatly now it seems ok.this chinese dont knows soldering...

And you dont know what tools buy, AK 500 it's a complete waste of money.

you are right but i didnot know what is ak500 before i buy.now i will tell other friends clean board very well with thinner,check solders of relays atmega and max ics.
after that when you plug usb power it must give 4 times beep.and than device is ok.

i dont try this yet.but unlocking esl,reading ezs hc05 and hc912(s) very good.i am using ak500 like programmer,not using for key calculate.i think its ok,not perfect but ok.hc05 connector is easy to read really.and never damaged my motorolas.
