Hi I have a Philips HTS 3115 Home Cinema with a PSU fault. When the plug is placed into the socket the internal fuse blows. I assume there is a short some where.

Does anyone have any knowledge this fault and what the suspect parts which may require replacement?

Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated

I would say the ic next to the burt resistor is shorted, the burnt resistor is most likely open and the jumper jp113 on the bottom is also open. I tried lloking for the schematic but the one I found was not the same (http://fo.metincom.net/uploads/8da581d7f9690e836183f8cd377772da.pdf)

would need the complete model number ie: HTS3115/????
