Unlocked hTC system update

Is it ok to system update on unlocked hTC desire hd, does it update through htc or old service provider ie: 3,O2,vodaphone,etc

It will update whatever software is currently on the phone.

So if it's branded it will update the branded software.

If the unlock was done via code or box with S-Off etc, then it will remain unlocked.

Not sure about Rooted unlock.
