Facebook users will soon be able to update their status by talking into their iPhones.
The social networking site is being built into apples IOS 6 software which runs in iPhones and iPads and will be launched later this year.
It will also allow users to "like" movies, films and apps available from the iTunes store.
The IOS 6 will also be first to drop google maps and will instead use it's own maps app, which includes traffic reports and a standalone sat nav.
Siri the voice command app, will feature new languages and be able to launch apps and films and will be able to run in iPads for the first time.
