I have a N95 and I installed Garmin mobile on it about 6 months ago. But now when I try to use the software the phone cant fine a GPS signal and it's driving me crazy. Is there a new or better GPS software that I can install and use instead of Garmin mobile? Also I have a Nokia promotional movie already loaded on the handset. It plays at almost DVD quality and I am amazed at the power of this small Phone. But when I want to add some .avi files to the phone. Fist I have to convert them and once they are in .3gp format the quality is terrible and out of sync. Is there a software that I can get my hands on that I can just add media files to and it will convert the files perfectly to be displayed on the hand set?
Cheers guys

I put mp4 video on mine I know AVS Video Converter works but I usually use Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate.

i use tom tom but would think there is a setting in garmin where you set your gps receiver.

Thanks Jim your right there is a setting to set the GPS receiver but when i select the internal GPS receiver it don't work. I don't have a Blue tooth one so i cant use that function. I think if i install Tom Tom mobile for the N95 it might work??? any one know where i can get a copy of this???

Hello Gun man,
I have Garmin mobile XT on my N95 8gb and also on my daughters N95.
It works fine.
Did you make the text files to unlock the software and the maps ?
You need to make them on your PC with the keygen and then copy them over to the phone.

Cheers,

Hippy

Sorry mate.
I never tried the Tom Tom as the Garmin software works well for me.
Not sure what else to suggest. It's been a while since I did my own.
