Hello,
a friend of mine is working on a engine swap (E90 with 335i engine, before 320i) and he asked me if i can help to make CAS and DME (MSD80) working.
He has DME, CAS and only one key from donor car. He dont want to use the CAS from donor car because he want to use his original keys. So i need to make the MSD80 working with his original CAS.
On MPCXXX based ecus i always read the images with Xprog-M but afaik the MSD has a Tricore, so this will not work.
I think the better way is to read out the content of both CAS and put the ISN/password from the donor CAS into the original CAS. After that we can do a EWS-alignment a all is fine.
To read out the CAS is not the problem but who can help me to modify the CAS images?
