03 micra emission problem

got one in on towtruck with non starting,plugs black and wet,new plugs fitted codes erased and car on road test,back and rechecked faults -none but bad smell and emissions 9.99,put scope on the front probe and not switching so got a stealers prope
still got high emissions hmm back on scope signal comes and goes,brain bee on live data shows no info for air flow,yet car drives fine,oh check engine light was the reason why owner phoned cause car a non start,not looked at fuse box or live feed for lambda yet.

change the oil and filter, and candles (spark plugs if your not polish)

new plugs were fitted,see a few issues maybe sensor problems
car is in for service but wanted to get car running correctly first.

i know chains are a problem ,no rattles yet but surely that would not effect lambda,dont think i did eng temp check will recheck again

if the valves are open wrong time eould except hydrocarbons on sensor

Check in live data what the Timing is reading at idle and you will know if its a Timing Chain problem or, not.......... before you start changing any other parts..............
