Brendan Rodgers will be bringing his Liverpool side to Belfast in August. The Premiership side are to play Crusaders in a glamour friendly at Ravenhill, better known as the home of Ulster rugby, on Tuesday 14 August.

It is expected Liverpool will bring over a strong side and that is why the game is to be played at Ravenhill, rather than Seaview, which can hold only 3,000.

Ravenhill's capacity is four times that number.

Rodgers will announce his squad for the game at the end of July.

Well they came and played in front of a capacity 12000 crowd, ?45 a ticket and not one of the first team involved, surely they could have sent a few big names over even Brendan Rodgers could have made an appearance to the many kids there.

Yeah wongers I fully agree, pity they let down so many people, heard loads of complaints on the radio this morning. They could easilly have had a few of the big names kitted out and chatting to youngsters.
