The parents of a 21-year-old Irish soccer fan, who has been missing in Poland since Saturday night, have made an emotional appeal for help in finding him.

James Nolan from Blessington in Co Wicklow, disappeared on a night out in Bydgoszcz, a town 130km north east of Poznan.

Polish police along with Irish consulate staff, are involved in the search.

Mr Nolan, an engineering student, set off for Poland in a camper van with a group of friends 11 days ago.

After attending the first match in Poznan, they travelled to Gdansk for last week's Spain game.

Very sad please put on your tweets blogs fb pages Thanks

Anyone with information can contact the Irish consulate in Poznan on 0048-880529105, garda? or the Department of Foreign Affairs here on 1890-426-700.
