Hi guys, is anyone clued up on the navi hardware situation on nissan 350z?
I have a gentleman with an import fairlady, navi kept talking to him in Japanese so he purchased a navigation dvd reader. He claims he found out the Jap reader will not read UK discs with maps.
the dvd reader from an UK car seems to have the same plugs (except its missing the DVD player socket) but it makes the screen flicker (as if there was ntcs/secam incompatibility).
does anyone know whether the screen can be swiched over from one video system to another or an UK screen will be needed as well?
