Hi folks

Read an chevrolet celta Multec F (opel corsa B in Brazil) with original KessV1, magpro4.1, galletto 1260, MPPS and KWP2000plus

Kess V1 and magpro give the same file with 98K, but galleto gives a short one with 88K ... MPPS and KWP can?t read it.

KessV1 and magpro can?t write... and I heard galleto would brick the ECU, so didn?t try it yet

if you compare two files, the galleto one is the same of kess after adress 2000h

Do you think galleto can do this without brick the ECU ?

galletto and kwp are extensively used in Brazil. I know it takes some time to read or to write don't remember. But all tools you named there should be able to write. Galletto 1250 is good, but i think mpps can be better. Test it. :)

here in Brazil the B used only multecs:
Multec EMS (1.0 and 1.6 8v) (1996 to 2001)
Multec H (the new classic ones) (2001 til now)

only the Corsa C 1.0 used Bosch M7.9.6, the 1,4 and 1,8 used multec H (wich KessV1 can do)

MPPS => can?t even conect (it states to chose the ECU, I tried everyone and no one could read with my old V3 cable)
KWP200 => can?t even conect

KessV1 and Magpro=> can read, but can?t?t write (read an file wich is greater than I think it is 98K)

Galleto 1260=> reads 88K, didn?t try to Write because there is some information about bricking these ECU (but don?t know if is just rumors)

Do you have Multec F in what cars ? what wold be the lenght of file ? 98 or 88K ?

you probably cant write to it diagnostically because the type of chip it runs is probably not electronically erasable.

Its a hybrid ECU, the PCB looks almost like the Multec H pcb (I have photo if you want)
