that picture in the middle shows the 2 button BMW INFRA-RED Key, as far as I know there is nothing that can code those remotes if lost all keys or even just wanting a spare, the transponder part is a breeze but the remote part, well i think we are screwed with that :(

I can help with vw couse I have done a fw. I decode it with lishi tools HU66 I/II
Or if the lock is damaged I strip it down and read the numbers on plates/pins.

Dont know about bmw or merc. It is simple enough:cheers:

i read 4 track bmw with lishi tool (1 to pick and hold lock)&(decorder to read the cuts). the trick is to pick the lock and remove the tool without it spring back to lock. you must pull out the tool at 1:00 so the gate will open. the gate is that big wafer looking that sits in the key traping it to the lock.

How do you guys go on about decoding non laser keys, e.g. older Renaults or pug 206 etc.?

Which lock would you strip ignition or door lock? or does it depend on the model?

On most of Peugeot the door lock will be enough to do the job. The exception is on the ones with NE78 those are bastards for newbies. On those I strip the ignition barrel. There are a few tricks you must know on those. If you don't know them I recommend not to take the job.

you get a ne78 lishi 2in1 for those locks, so should be able to do those no probs, also for a bit of info i used a hu83 on an ignition lock on peugeot and picked and decoded lock no probs, just got to wiggle tool left and right to get the plastic lock bar out the way so tool will enter lock, pick does not get stuck so dont worry.
