audi RB8 can failure

i have a 2006 audi a4 cabrio 8E which has been parked up for 2 years and since has developed a problem with interior can due to cluster failure,symptoms are as follows,
no indicators/full beam displayed in dash but working externally
no climate control
radiator fan runs constant
no soft top control
no radio off with ignition
no remote central locking

car still starts and drives and i.m sure the fault lies in the cluster as i've used a donor RB4 to plug in and this brings back most features instantly.
I've stripped and reflowed the pcb but to no avail so i was hoping for help/suggestions as to where the fault may be or best route to take preferably without taking a trip to the
dealers:dong:,
could this be a software issue? I don't have any special tools to adapt a used cluster but i will post dumps and more info if needed

You can start by changing CAN transceiver, must be TJA 1054/ 1055 or something similar.

thanks for the tip milkman,replaced these x 2 but still nothing,if i was to install a used cluster can you tell me if enigma will adapt it? i don't have avdi or dejavu?

Are you sure if problem of car is in dash. ? I think problem is in another ecu, maibe confort ecu

if you want to swap dash with used one you need both pin codes.
you can retreive them only via obd

you are right.
Ive done one with AVDI . copy immo area from original and paste to used one.

the reason i think the fault is in the dash is because i plugged in a spare rb4 and i got my indicators a/c etc back instantly,i have inspected the comfort control and central electronic and don't suspect them to be faulty.

1)Dear friend,i don't have idea about enigma if it is possible to transfer the keys from one instrument to another.
2) but for example: with avdi can done in few minute,just he read from old original dash (64 byts) of keys file, after this (64 byts) file,write to another new dash. and after can start the car without using any pin code or adaptation.

unfortunately i don't have or know of anyone in my area with AVDI but had a contact with enigma so was hoping this would do the job but if not if i will enquire with my local dealer to see if they will agree to adapt a used cluster,

sounds great mike,do you have AVDI?,the only problem is that i'm located in ireland and i would be one lucky man if you are too?
if by chance you are obviously i would not expect your services for free.

Mate, sounds like the problem is in the ECU. Check if the immo has not been offed. Some A4's Ive delt with before do exactly the same s#!t when one tries to turn the immo off in the ecu. (Indicators do their own thing and A/C stops working, but car starts)

thanks for replies guys,the immo is definately not off as car doesn't start with RB4 installed and the car is in original state otherwise with only 40k on the clock,i will check ecm compartment for any water ingress though as this problem has only appeared since the car was parked up for 2 years.
i will post a full scan of the vehicle as soon as i get back to it.

1) dear (d2mike), from this kind of ecu u can't know from eeprom file if it is immooff. u need the flash file 2.
