Hello all.
Now bear with me, I have a transit here with an odd A/C fault.
The A/C compressor does not engage. The light in the switch illuminates, and the signal is arriving at the engine ECU, from the pressure switch.
In IDS, in the live data, it doesnt recognise that the A/C switch has been switched on.
There are no fault codes in the ECU, BUT, if you clear codes (no codes present tho) with the engine running, the A/C clutch will engage and work perfectly....-until you switch the engine off. Re-start the engine and the A/C will no longer work, until the 'fault codes' are cleared.
I have replaced the engine ECU with a new one, thinking this would cure the fault, as the rest of the system works fine once the 'codes' are cleared.
Any help would be appreciated.
