Hello mates. i try to read with UPA 68hc05h12 from dash i use a diagram from upa and diagrams here on DK but i can`t read a mcu.I put a 12+ and ground from dash and read but when try to program i have error.When i read dash gose to sleep and try to program dash reset and powerd on i cut pin 46.

If you are using the 12volt supply to the cluster DO NOT use the 5 volt supply (wire 9) from the UPA. Arthur.

i know but when i lift 5 volt`s from pin 9 on cluster i have error 977 and can`t read MCU put pin 9 5 volts and 12 volts from cluster and i read but can`t write ? thanx

im having the same issue reading from upa error 977, i have tried with 5v from upa and also with 12v powering the cluster

ive worked out my problem i did not have the oscillator set to 4194 as soon as i set this it read and wrote 100%

thanx a lot problem not solved but i found the problem :) let anyone know with UPA you can read can`t write MC68HC05H12 ! with x-prog may be i don`t have best regards

I think your upa is faulty then is it genuine. Or a genuine clone from china
