Im still having problems, it says the interface is not connected. What COM port is it ment to be attached to??

It does not connect to a COM port. This cable is not a USB to serial converter. It uses direct USB for communication.

sorry i didnt think about that... I diddnt mean the physical oldskool COM port...

Yes its USB, but with some devices you need to manually assign a port to it ie COM1 or COM2 etc to work with the software
