BMW code.

Hi!
I recently posted about a code I needed for a BMW radio with the following numbers on:

BMW Philips Business RDS radio/cassette.
65.12 - 8 379 230
PH7850Y1470710
KW 18/00 Index: 00
22DC785/24
AT000018470710

The one reply I had said to read the eeprom. Before I struggle to remove the chip to read it, can anybody tell me whether the code can be generated from the above data? I have got codes from this sort of info before, so am I missing something vital?

No need to read eeprom, just give the serial no, which is engraved on the side of the set, to your BMW dealer and they will tell you the code for free.
Why do people want to complicate things???
