Audi TT cluster swap problem

Hi! I?m having strange problem with new cluster. I changed old cluster 8n1919880E to new 8n1919880H. The new cluster adds mileage very fast. I drive 5km and the odo says 10000km???? What the hell is going on? Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

I think is codding problem, if I right on coding is km impulse, just put codding from old one to new one.
why you swap cluster?

I was change 2 new dash on audi, but not TT
its was the virgin inside, and LOG IN its was open
all things can do with VCDS,
canal 21 just ONE TIME can write how many keys have car
after adaptation , its will automaticly close

the chanel for KM, also ONE TIME can write new KM, and
after adaptation is CLOSE

all another chanels can do like this, if you need
but after Fisrt time adaptation, it will be close
and if you will do something else, then you need to LOG CODE

you have only first time chanse for do this corectly

Well this was interesting.... Let me explain... Its working now like a charm. Nowhere was to be found any impulses adaptation. Also the new cluster had brakepadwarning and oil level warning. No wiring for these in the car. Well i what id did was read the eeprom of 912 with xprog from old cluster. I wrote it to the new one. Well well car starts fine. Let it idle for a while then immo light starts blinking, but car is running fine also starts fine??? so immo disabled "sortof". Then trying to adapt the key. Read with vagtacho the pin but controller doesnt accept??? wellwell. Try to manually detect the correct pin nogo there. Butbut some tool gave it 65535 as in nothing :D. Controller accepts fine :D. Adapted keys all fine. Also adaptation channel 62 was turned to 65535 as in nothing. So conclusion if I even understood this completely i think i would be einstein :D. Regards F4kk3r

I dont care about immo nobody wants to steal an old car worth nothing more than few thousand. I thought it is impossible to bypass immo through instruments on audi tt. But main thing its working.

No, sorry, the cousotmer think I can damage the dash,
he wait to do the end of job
one it was be RB8
second it was VDO Golf 5

its the same coustomer with company who sell cars,
he say me , somebody is still the dash from cars

I know , I was have " gold " in my hand
2 virgin dash.........:)

the dash which I was have , I get the paper from Vag how to do adaptation
did you get this paper, and also you will get the kod with 7 digital numbers,
but can used only the end of day,
next day will not work!!!!

7 digits code isnt a problem. there is conversion sw to 4 digits pin
