Remote alarm/central locking
System operation
A. Pressing key LOCK button activates alarm(if fitted), central locking and double locking system.
B. Pressing key LOCK button again within 10 seconds deactivates alarm system gradient sensor and interior movement sensor.
C. Alarm system gradient sensor and interior movement sensor remain deactivated until alarm system reactivated.
Holding key LOCK button in depressed position closes windows and then sunroof (if fitted).
D. Pressing key LOCK button once causes interior lamps to illuminate.
E. "All doors"selected in i-drive "vehicle settings" menu:
Pressing key UNLOCK button once deactivates alarm(if fitted) and unlocks driver's door only.
Pressing key UNLOCK button again within 10 seconds unlocks all doors.
F. Saloon/Coupe
Holding key UNLOCK button in depressed position opens windows and then sunroof.
G. Convertible.
Holding key UNLOCK button in depressed position opens windows and then convertible top.
H. If vehicle unlocked and doors or boot not opened within 2 minutes,locks are reactivated.
I. Alarm/central locking functions can be altered using i-drive "vehicle settings"menu.
J. Pressing key trunk release button activates trunk release.
Programming

A. key added or replaced
How
A. keys can only be programmed using obdcartool.
NOTE: A maximum of 10 keys can be programmed.
Battery replacement
NOTE: No battery replacement necessary. Use each key in ignition switch for a long trip once a year to recharge batteries.
