trying to play newest games on 4.1e

so i tried using a tut from another website now no backup games work
is it worth updating to 4.3 or can fix it another way thanks

Is this donkey kong country an original game or a ripped game? Did this game try and do an update before it would work?

Well your sysCheck.zip is corrupt it won't open for me.

Post the report as instructed in that link open it will WordPad.



This will create a sysCheck.csv file on the root of the SD card that can be opened with Excel. If you don't have Excel on your computer you can use WordPad to open it and copy and paste the contents into a thread in here when asked.

You're syscheck is pretty much ok so you should be able to play the games you already could................Have you remembered the shopping channel also needs to be updated. if you play COD then this will already have been done if not there is a good chance that is your problem, here is the shop channel updater incase you need it Digital Kaos - Downloads - 4.3 shop channel updater v20 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/4-3-shop-channel-updater-v20-1426/) and here is a full cios pack Digital Kaos - Downloads - Full Cios wad pack (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/full-cios-wad-pack-1949/) extract this pack then copy the contents of the folder to a blank sd card, it should autoload to ios 236 when launching mmm from hbc if it hasn't reload to 236, if it has then once in wad manager press 1 on the wiimote to select all wads then click ok to install them. This will sort out all cios for all games (except tintin) but that's another story.

Are you tring to play backup discs through the disc channel by any chance, if you are then you must have had darkcorp installed at some point but you don't have it now going by the syscheck, which is not corrupt by the way, it opened for me no problem. Install neogamma 9, you will find it in the downloads section, play your discs through that it is much safer than darkcorp.

It should be working m8 stick all the files from cios pack on (just overwrite everything that's on it) if that fails try a different version of neogamma

finally got it to work sort of, i run each game thu neogamma r8 and the game starts to load normally until it comes to a load screen after the nintendo safty screen it comes up with message saying disc could not be read, refer to operations manual

We had one like this the other week as well, spooky, he never got it to play discs by the way and just runs it from hdd. There is no reason why you can't play backup discs. i just tried using that and i got a few erros before copying over to sd
something.dll was found was the error
but still downloaded files
i copy them over to sd card and ran homebrew channel nothing came up at all
as i had wiped my card clean for this im still on 4.1 e i havnt updated

Ill add all the extras you need as far as cios goes and neogamma 9 with forwarder channel so if you delete the neogamma forwarder you have now that would be handy. Are you using verbatim dvd- (minus) r.......they are the only ones that work properly. At least you are back to where you were before you done the other update, I am positive you will find it is a disc issue. They MUST be minus r not plus r

ok mate almost all of the newer games especially motion plus ones need to have the alt.dol used before they will work on neogamma, even then they may not work there is still no alt dol for spiderman and batman as there is almost nobody working on them cause nobody uses disc anymore. Here's an option though but don't know if it will work...Try Usb loader gx 3.0 it will now launch without an hdd plugged in you just have to press "B" when the waiting for usb device countdown is on. Here is the All in one package Digital Kaos - Downloads - USBLoader GX 3.0 All in one package (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/usbloader-gx-3-0-all-one-package-2214/...All) all you need from this package is the UNEO Forwarder wad from the wads folder (just copy it into your wads folder and install with mmm into ios 236 the copy the gx folder from the apps folder into the apps folder on your sd, launch gx and in the top right you will see adisc click that and you will be able to play games from disc using all the features of gx i.e changing cios to load games like cod, monster hunter tri and the likes but it also gives the option of blocking ios reload as default and sources alt.dols from the net so you don't have to go looking for them...Good luck and let us know how you get on, if this works properly it is going to leave neogamma dead in the water

and they work ok.
