I found this:

1) Use 7-zip or WinRAR to extract
2) Extract KB888111XPSP2.exe to a folder such as C:\KB888111XPSP2
3) Open Device Manager, search for the Unknown PCI device
4) Right click on the Unknown PCI device to update the driver
5) Point the driver path to this C:\KB888111XPSP2\commonfiles\

It should be able to update. Install the audio driver on your machine
Found it here: No support for HD-Audio (KB888111)? (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/itproxpsp/thread/f88cafad-e8b3-41f1-b13a-a0e6960ff3dd)

Part of the frustration is that the device manager does not report any hardware errors or conflicts there are no exclamation marks next to any devices

Problem solved by going to the manufacture of the pc's web site and downloaded the sound drivers from there , thanks , regards
