Hi

There are plenty of channel lists, if you look you`l see them on the forum.

You can try mine which is in the red stickies section or others which are on the forum.

As for firmware I would first find out if your box has original chip id or clone.

Why do you want to change the firmware anyway..... what has it got on at moment.

Ebay maybe.... Choose a seller who's selling them with the latest firmware already installed, that way you'll know you aint buying a clone..

If you want all the channels (not just the free ones) then you can either buy a box that comes preinstalled with a "Gift" or you'll have to google and learn about things like "cccam" and "card sharing servers"..

Hey mate I have seen this gift thing so does that mean the box should hopefully come with the latest firmware from this seller also?
I might get this gift thing and ask the seller will my openbox come with the latest firmware and is it a genuine unit, thanks again mate

1 other thing do I always have to keep it plugged into the broadband for it to always get the channels or is that not needed?
I only ask cause I am a newbie and I swear I saw somewhere where it said keep it plugged in with an ethernet cable always I may be wrong though

If it only says it comes with "Gift" then it could be a genuine box, or it could be a clone box... Like I said, choose to only buy from a seller that specifies the latest firmware is already installed..

And yea, if you want ALL the channels then it always needs to be connected to the internet, otherwise you'll only get the Free channels..

On saturday I asked someone on ebay if 1 I was after was a genuine openbox or clone and got no answer so the 1 I was looking at must be a clone and the bad thing about clones is they will have firmware probs down the line I think
