Well it's only leechers that download, so let them.

you could always try emailing it to yourself - see if the inbuilt AV says anything.

avast antivirus has a 'sandbox' which lets programms run somehow controlled, get your key number and close it.

also find with A/V stuff ALWAYS zip the file as they normally get swalloewed.

no not really, sometimes key gens, do have a free virus.

Althought we don't talk about torrents here on the worlds best website, it is possable somebody has a clean file, some downright dirty scum bag, leeches it, adds a bit of malware, sticks it back, denys all knowage.

ALWAYS

run a virus check after keygen anyway.

OK my friend, I think I am pretty certain the staff here know what they're doing.

This is a query for the staff: where are you provided the links from in the first place?

Thanks just ran them through Jotti's malware scan (http://virusscan.jotti.org/en) and found a couple of nasties, so deleted each one.

DAMM due to DK rules unable to upload said file, but basically i have a keygen for windows XP - one vitus checker goes divvy, another keeps stum.

Same with another 'file' i used to have. (donated to the homeless)

I didn't realise, this was going to cause so much hassle, I was only asking for someone to check them out, so as to avoid problems for other users, yes they may have known they were infected, but they also might not.

@Paul... eh??
