Hi guys and gals I'm after a bit of advice on which printer to buy since my R300 has decided to play up. It has been a great printer and has done well just dont know what to upgrade to. Was thinking of going for a LaserJet but do some times print photos and I heard laser jets are not economical to print photos and the quality not to be as good as a Inkjets is this the case??
Ideally I would like something that prints good quality can print photos and can print direct to cd/dvd and if not going down the LaserJet route is able to take compatible cartridges. Also if it included a scanner that would be helpful but by no means a must. Any recommendations?

When I passed on my R300 I jumped to windows 7, I picked up a P50.

It's a lot quicker than the R300. The disk tray also doesn't need to exit the back of the printer.
That and it's Windows 7 compatible, unlike the R300.

Cheers guys for all the replies was looking at the P50 to be honest but not really been looking at replacing as my r300 as has been performing faultlessly for many years. So don't know what is what with these printers these days. Got to say the front exit cd tray loading and unloading is appealing
