Hi all
Hope someone can help me with this:
I have a not working ecu (gets real hot and the car did not start)
I have bought a ecu with the same number, and switched the eeprom: 95640 3 / K733B.
Put it in the car and the car started and and the engine was running.

I then did read it with bdm (for chiptunung) I got the file back from tuner, did write it with bdm.

Then putted the ecu back into the car.
The car did not start, message in the dash : immobilizer problem.
In Vida it says : no connection with the other modules.

Please can somebody help me with this one.
I also posted this also in the chiptuner section of this forum

Attach readed flash file, try read flash from old ecu( as it possible) and write it. I think something wrong in reading or writing by bdm.You can also try looking in network for flash this ecu.

Hi
I cannot read the old ecu it's dead
I attached the files who are made when the engine did run.
I did try to write full read back but no succes.
The bdm program gives not the option to write eeprom back
(or i cannot find where it is )
What do u mean with : << You can also try looking in network for flash this ecu. >> ?

You remove vin number from eeprom file or was not there?
Flash looks good.
Read eeprom from old using programer and write again eeprom and flash.

I did not remove Vin from the file,
Cannot read anything from old ECU it's dead .
I swapped the little eeprom (95640) on the new ECU and the car did start en run.
The files in first post are the files we take after that with bdm for backup.

I tryed to write them back, it did not work.
I cannot push any button in advanced section, they all stay grey

The only thing where i could find something that might be usefull is in the little eeprom i swapped, I also did read the eeprom from the scrapyard .
I can see the vin of the car is in it.
@Looly Idid read both :-)

I hope it's any use
