thanks for that.i just need a original so i can compare a mapped file from the car...

its a bit of a weird one.i id the ecu and got this

but if u check the file in a hex editor or bosch file checker,i get this id.

is this because it has updated software

its because m8, these ecu,s are hybrid, which means they can be used on different engines. Just reflash and go these are bosch m1.5.5 system same hardware for ecu as corsa c 1.2 etc, just different flash.

Bosch part numbers dont need to match, there loads of part numbers that do exactly same job
