Hi.

My dad bought a Lexia 3 interface from eBay and it has never worked correctly. It will work on some cars but not others. He is using diagbox and I have updated it to the latest version 6.19 but he has tried to connect to a Berlingo today and had problems again. Diagbox reads the chassis number and asks for the RPN? but hen he clicks on the green tick it just takes him back to the screen where the can either select Lexia, Measurement or Scantool. Can anyone shed any light or give me any pointers that I can pass on. He is running windows xp and has tried 2 different computers if that helps.

your lexia is it original or china clone?

I'm not sure mate. I'm guessing it's a clone by the way it's behaving!!

when you have use digbox 6.19 you have blocked your lexia
china clone .you can check your lexia with psa checker posted here in digital kaos ,if it is clone you can reflash your lexia just the winbond flash eeprom search here in thread

Thanks for the advice mate. Once I have re-flashed it will I be able to use 6.19 or will it just lock it again? He was previously using 6.05 but had problems with the software saying it wasn't plugged in. This was also after it had read the chassis number.

use 5.29 diagbox, you have cheap LQ interface, it needs reflashed to run v.6 diagbox

Ok i'll try that. To be honest my dad was thinking of buying another one from ************ on eBay. Is this likely to be any better?

Yes, you can do so. Don't go beyond 5.29 or you will lock your interface.

chinese products are very good quality , who is play in updating receivers dont know any thing about chinese products .
