Hi there i recently got an open box, i managed to set this up on uk channels and all is well, I have eventually figured out how to move my motorised dish using the open box. But i dont seem to be getting the signals that i am getting on my TM500s.
A couple of questions are on the setup for antenna etc what do i need to change tried various settings and still no look
LNB freq (what is this and do i need it setting to each individual satelitte) : 5150 (currently set)
DISEqC1.0 disabled
DISEqC1.1 disabled do i need either of these enabled??
22K Off (do i need this set to on)
Motor type Diseqc1.2 ( would i be better selecting USALS)
LNB Power ON
also is there a simple way that i can add satellite lists to my box rather than manually having to enter each individual satelitte and then transponder??
any help glady appreiciated

Put your local LOG & LAT in the settings, Motor setting set all satellites USALS.. LNB frequency you should set universal with the widest band, yes you do need to set this for each satellite..
Setting up a new satellite is simple enough and quick, you just put in the position in the sky (like 28.2e) and give it a name.. You dont need to enter transponders manually, blind scan will usually find them all..

Once I have set openbox freq for first sat, thay all have been set same.
Lnb for info is 9750-10600 not 5150
Select Usals if you previously used them before and enter the long/lat details you had.
Otherwise diseqc 1.2 and manually tune.

is there a site that will tell me what the LNB FQ should be for that satellite?? i've been on LYNG and KIng but i'm still none the wiser over what the LNB setting should be, i assume that i should have LNB power on then
Cheers guys

LNb power on,
also enter menu- antenna setup- lnb freq, once here you can press right or left arrow keys on the remote control to change lnb freq, set it to the universal 9750-10600 or whichever works
but make sure it says unversal

Ive not had a look at my open box for a while but dusted it down yesterday to give it another go at trying to figure out how to drive my dish automatically,
So i can move the dish from 28.2e to 19.e using the slight tuner manually , but when i try and move the dish the other way the box just reboots.
Is this a power issue from my open box?
Or will it be a firmware issue ? where do i get the latest f/w from, i assume there somewhere on here with link etc.
Or is it that my box is a clone ? i'm not sure whether or not it is and dont want to add the firmware that kills the box if its a clone.
Any help on these issue glady welcome

Hi i find myself continually coming back to my openbox and trying to fix my motorised dish issue,
As off yet i still not managed to do this, i spoke to guy in the shop and he seems to think that the issue is a firmware issue.
As mentioned above, i was able to move the dish east with the slight tuner setting that you get on the settings unfortunately this has now changed and whether i move slightly to the east or the west it just reboots my box.
I originally thought that my box was a clone and this is what was causing the fault, i have done the menu 8888 think and apparently my box isn't a clone so that cancels that issue out of the equation.
Now the guy in the shop is saying possible F/W issue, i've looked around various sights and on here and downloaded 5/6 differnt ones i have added them and still no luck the above problem keeps happening.
So if any one has had this problem then could you please tell if or how you fixed it.
Or even if like said its a F/W issue and i am missing the correct F/W could you possible post a link or pm me a link.
No doubt ill be posting on here when i decide to take this on again
Thanks in advance

I had similar issue with my s10 and Navigator motor. Could only get 19.2 down to 13e. Motor has now packed up.
It is said that Openboxes run poorly with motor setups. I guess there are many people out there who run a full arc with no problems ?
