bmw f10 cas4 2012

Hello.Somebody know exactly procedure for changing cas4 for the new one from the dealer.Bmw f10 2012.
I call the dealer he told me the cas4 will be not program when you buy from bmw dealer.
So i need to know what i need to do the first for changing km in the dash?
1)Corect km in the dash?
2)Put the new cas4 ???
3)Conect the dash with new km????
4) Do i need coding the cas4 when its install in the car????
If someone did this job please let me know!!!!!!

You would ha e to have the chasis when ordering the cas 4 so I would assume it would have the basics settings installed , the dash would have to be lowered whilst the cas are in transition , but again I would have said it would be ready to plug in if not you will need to take to dealers to be coded in

If you order the cas4 using the chassis number then it will come part coded but there will be some functions that do not work properly, electric seats, etc.

I know Autologic can fully code the cas4 to the car.

You can get form dealer ready to work,and only some functions (retrofit) must be coded .
This can be done by ISTA P or ESYS.
For KM,make the correction in dash and the install the new CAS,then CAS will take the higher mileage!

If You install new CAS4 , You have to make complete coding and remove "safe mode" , other vice You not be able to start the car even if You have no errors in all car , this mode simply disable starter , last week just did F07 2012 .

bmw sell them all the time here in california no problems as long u show proof of ownership i now in fact mercedes benz its not selling anything related to vehicle security anymore
