Hi All , there is this one chip on an Opel immo 2 made by Siemens that has ATIC and then some digits printed on it .It seems to be a " locking " chip stopping one from cloning the unit .Any ideas ? Please find attached a photo of the abovementioned chip , thanks , regards

really can't be bothered to get off this chair, but got 2 behind me.

*THINK* and ONLY a *THINK* 5 volt regulator.

use google function to look for "4949ED" - see if pin outs are the same? :bounce:

UPA USB reads these immo 1 units just fine .

Even if there is atic 018 chip next to it ..

But with T300 or MVP, OPCom you do not even need to desolder to read pin.

That is provided that you have no waiting time ..(Someone else tampered with it?????)
