mobile net

hi .. i have a dm500 and have connected a wi fi bridge and using a mobile phone for internet.. if i connect the bridge onto my computer i can get internet via my mobile phone ..when i connect the bridge onto STB the channels dont clear ..my provider is giff gaff... any ideas
