95080 is fine to read / write with UPA.
Maybe your IC is write protected.
Write file in a different 95080 and job is done.

Strange problem because I have read many 95080 eeproms with upa. Did you try to solder it directly to the adapter board?

I found once in dash from fiat ducato 2005 one 95040w not write protect, with upa ( original) i cant write only with gq4x with special selection in device 95040w, i think in some cases upa dont write 95040W or 95080W

If reading ok, try to read Status Register (the box below) and if the value is something else change to 80 or F0 and write back. Then try again.
edited> ChipDoctor, got your PM a couple hours after my post saying that the Reg. Status was 84 e.g. the chip memory area of $300-$3FF are locked, that's your answer.
WONDERING that no post here to let some others to know what was going on, ChipDoctor !

Hi guys
I planned the eeprom and the car worked
After two or three ignited off the car the eeprom loses its memory and the engine stops working
Why eeprom lose the clean dump ?????????
The legs F3 and F4 I have not quit, maybe to blame this??????
Best Regards!!!
