Hello,

Not sure if I can get an explanation of the above. I have a rather inquisitive mind and technically would like to understand a few of the files on the Skybox F3/Openbox and how they work.

Can someone offer a technical explanation of what the CCAM.PRIO, CCAM.CFG, Softkey?

I have a fair idea about what the CFG file does but not the PRIO.

I only remember those 2 of the top of my head but will update the other ones to get an overall picture of how things work..

Cheers,
Scoob

What exactly is a priority file:
The CCcam.prio file tells CCcam which card idents to ignore, and which to give priority too.
You can obviously create a CCcam.prio file yourself, which you can set to your own personal channel preferences, it will then make channel swapping much quicker.

Softcam are sets of keys that can open certain channels on various sats, same as constant.cw does but somfcam tend to last a little longer..

CCcam.cfg is where info goes for c/s but we cannot talk about that on this forum so google is the way forward for you lol
