View Full Version : vu+ duo clone switching tuners

right new to the vu+ duo clone box
had a dm 500 thought t was time for an upgrade
so i bought this...........
issues
1.switching between tuners(got tuner b on fixed 28.2 dish and tuner a on motorised) but need to reset box to jump between them
2.the motor im using seems to be a couple of degrees out (19.2 seems to be 21.2 etc) and having trouble finding sats

any help guys would be appreciated

Not too sure how you have your configuration set but if Motorised is on Tuner A then set Simple-Positioner and enter your Lon & Lat details and tuner B Simple-Single sat 28.2?.

As for the Motor scale do take these as read thet they are correct it is there for reference only and nearly 99% are never accurate ( they all show a different number to which sat your on ). The only one i have come across that seems to be near as damn it is the STAB Motor's.

If your ARC is out then you will have to adjust this yourself.

well was trying to get 28.2 on motorised but it was roughly sitting a little over 30
got the fixed working fine with the setting u mentioned but seem to lose others on motorised

with those settings your box should automatically switch to Tuner B when you select a channel on 28.2? east unless you also try and record another channel on there then you motor will kick in for the second feed on 28.2? east.


If your losing sats on the motorised then it lloks very much like it needs re-aligning.
