BMW 525Tds E39 IMMO

Hi,

car is from 1997 525Tds
hw 0281001373, sw 660/661.

Ews is completely down, no comms.

I have tried a few ways disabling the immo but no luck so far.
I have done immo off before to sw 945/946 but this is not the same.

Maybe someone willing to help?

Now tried with FF?s from 0x00 to 0x4f , not working
and also tried changing 0x0b to C0 , not working

it says control module coding wrong/incomplete.

Maybe something corrupted in left or right 93c46.

Anyone have original files for this ecu?

Hi,

installed eeproms in ecu, connected starter wires inside ews box. Car cranks but not starting.

Autocom show dtc?s
45 - ews
104 - ecu fault
105 - ecu fault

Will post dtc?s from inpa later.

What could be wrong?

what programmer do you use.
my dumps is from beeprog.
it could be swapped. try again after swapped.

I use Batronix bx40 and st 93c46wp eeproms.
For some reason could not erase original eeproms.

Are you suggesting to do byte swapping?

WP means write protected, you need pin 4 high to erase.

I tried swapping bytes. Also with different eeproms. No luck.
I see that people have succeeded with 945/946 sw by changing 0x0b to C0. I have one of these ecus but without eeproms.

If someone have done this on 660/661 please contact me
