View Full Version : MB GREEN KEY RESET

Does any one know how to reset the workshop green key for MB.
I need to use it to install a new ESL on a W204 with a faulty ESL.I have a green work shop key but it has data from another car,or is there a way to get this car started some how?
The key turns and the desh comes on but it wont crank.

The green key is programmed for a specific car, if you have a green key only dealer can reprogram it. I don't know, but suspect green key loose the information after succeed programation of virgin EZS.

No friend he can do it with DAS I have do it easy ( in w204 new ESL with orange key no green key).
in old car w203 ; w210 , w202......... with green key.

Get in diagnosis with EZS and active ESL with orange key and is ok .....

no orange key,so it cant be done without the orange key?does it have to be for that car and vin or any orange key can do?

If want to change new EVL. Must order orangee key and evl.
Don't know you ??:wink:

The problem in ESL is mechanical, just swap pcb from old to new and problem are solved.
