Hi guys,

I got a preloaded F3 box with uk sky channels, but I have a few questions I've been trying to find answers to...

1. Is it possible to have multiple recordings? Or to watch one channel while recording another?

2. What's the best hdd to use for recording? Currently using a USB flash drive totest it, files are created on it which are readable on pc but too slow for F3 to read from. Same problem with pausing tv.

3. Is there a way to get a TV guide for what is on each channel? The EPG button kinda works, but it's temperamental and slow.

I also have a Panasonic free sat box, I was told I could link the F3 to this, and use the hdd and features of the free sat box, is this at all possible? I can't find any info on how to do this...

Thanks
Tony

1. not with the f3 box, u need a twin tuner (im not aware of recording and changing the channels at once)
2. best to use an external hdd, a usb powered one would do, it can be fat32 or ntfs formatted
3. epg is hit and miss, the best ul get is now and next (u need a better box such as enigma 2 which is ?150ish)

4. it may be possible to link through its loop in but dont know if yuo can use the hdd recorder, as it only works with the tuner i think

Thanks!

If it was possible to use the freesat box as well, do you think this would let me record one channel and watch another, using the two tuners in the freesat box?
