525tds hot startproblem

hello!

i have a problem on a range rover p38 with bmw engine 525tds EDC 1.3.1, it start very very hard when engine is hot, when it's cold it doesn't have a problem.
is it possible to fix this problem in the flash? :trytofly:

Problem comes from injection pump mechanical wear. Can give more details if needed. You can try to ease the problem by remapping. You can also cheat ect sensor during starting, would be maybe easiest to do.

the problem is that with time the chain is relaxes, like a motorcycle chain must be tightened., the tendur is the chain that does the job alone, but the pump decalle slightly,
and poses problems of a hot startup.

When yor engine is hot and dont start well,put water on pump to become cold and if start quick it means the pump is defective.
