Skybox M3 HD

Can anyone tell me if the Skybox M3 HD can actually record to USB flash drive in HD and then play back in HD. If not, is there any software or firmware that will allow HD record/play.

Yes it can, but you'll need a fast speed rated flash drive to record HD without glitches. Ordinary cheapo flash drives just wont be fast enough for HD recording...

Its best to use a Hard Disk..

yup use a 2.5" external, uses usb for power
or 3.5" but you'll need to power it

OK thanks for the info. I have 16gb usb stick which works well with 1080p internet downloaded movies, I'll see how it copes with the Skybox when it arrives next week. I may have to pinch my sons Transcend 500gb usb HD if the stick cant cope.
