Depend if model is old GX with old smartbox or new type Master with new type smartbox.
Also check if S/N (serial number in soft info mach with the serial number on the device.Tell me which version of soft is on SD card, for for example Audi or VW.

I'd only recommend MaxiDAS DS708 from Autel Co. It's simply the best.

I'd never recommend it. Consider paying at least 150$ for one time update assuming u have a legal account. Go for DS708 and save a lot of headache. That was a free advice and it's up to u.

at the moment brain bee is around e800 per year,too expensive,we dont get the big porsche or the 2011 cars in as most stuff is older and the odd ssangyong which are a pain to do diagnostics,next will be where to buy an autodata cd to use on lappy.
