Once I install cummins insite 7.2 and replace the file in the crack folder to the computer, when I run the program the registration box open. It shows my PC ID number: 2A57AE17 and a set of 3 characters to fill in by 6 boxes. I don't know what number/alphabet to enter.

You must go in license manager then add licence and change to pro

After entering the 'Basic Password' and starting Insite.
1. Click on Tools and select Options
2. Click on Security
4. Click 'Add'
5. Enter Password for additional Function I.E. Pro
6. Press O.K.

And thats it.

Hi mate, thanks very much for having a dig. ill start to consider getting shut for that kind of cash, pointless it sitting here gathering dust, cummins soft aint been used for a while, will have to check the expiry dates on it. i also got the inline 2 adaptor, but will keep that spare. the inline 5 i got has been used less than a dozen times :( shame.

I have a problem with insite 7.2, when I install cummins insite 7.2 I write basic serial to I can run the program, then I write the serial to PRO PLUS, so here all it's ok, but when I connect the Inline 1 the version of the program down to Basic, and I don't know how I can corret this, please anybody help me.

It's a 5.9l dodge (2001) I found a reference to an adapter in an old inline manual, but cannot find it anywhere, even the cummins tech guy didn't have it in his computer, sooooo...
I'm guessing it's discontinued? Cummins part # is 3163646.

Each PC generates a new ID number so you will need additional passwords.

Start Cummins Insite by using the Basic Password.
To upgrade to Pro, do this:
1. Click Tools
2. Click Options
3. Click Security
4. Click Add
5. Enter Pro Password
6. Click O.K.

Nexiq USB link is the best way to go. Other options a bit cheaper are Norigon DLA and Dearborn Group DPA4+ adapters.

And the answer for you guys its simple. Copy the FLexLMChecker.dll file (is in the Crac** folder) to the Insite folder (in my case C:\Intelect\INSITE) and the whit the code that six pack give us register, only change the 3 firts numbers for 3 zeros (you put 000 not 002 and it's done) then you can change the license to PRO following this:

After entering the 'Basic Password' and starting Insite.
1. Click on Tools and select Options
2. Click on Security
4. Click 'Add'
5. Enter Password for additional Function I.E. Pro
6. Press O.K.

Long story short.. Got 7.2 working in basic and pro on my laptap only to discover the little black interupter box needed drivers that would not work in Vista. I have since got an old toughbook running XP that I will use only for Insite.

Update: All okay, got it working on the CF-28, so I am good to go now..

I can't help you with a password for 7.3 but if you load 7.2
and request the passwords, you should get a response from the forum.
Once 7.2 is up and running, upgrade to 7.3 and it will work.
Downside, dont let it connect to Cummins website because it will change its configuration and request new passwords. It will also expire in February 2010. Lets hope someone posts and shares the Keygen or Crack to 7.3 soon.

my friend youre right about the conection....but to connect the cummins ecms you have to get an rp1210a interface like innline I or II from cummins ....nexiq work very well and dearborn grup DPA 4 plus .its fine to.

I totally disagree with how this thread has
progressed.
Firstly if people read the info early in post
they would not need to request codes.

But yet people request codes and in public
without any efforts to conceal their own
PC ID.And then people supply codes with
out any efforts to conceal these.

You are "sh...... in your own nests" !
You think the owners of the software
dont Google to see how their protection
stands up.
Already they have made changes in v 7.3
and u can bet v7.4 due in march 2010 will
wipe out access for the humble mechanic.

Bear in mind also if u look in "audit trail "
whilst u are connected to an ecm and if
u have made changes : your pcid will be
there with the changes it made.
If machine is under investigation from serious
accident and any changes your pcid made
will also come under scrutiny.

Maybe u guys should think ahead a little.

I totally agree with what you are saying. But I also want to say that Cummins has created some of these issues. I had to buy a new hard drive and reload Insite. When I asked Cummins for a new password, they informed me that they no longer supported my version of Insite. Additionally, my hardware does not support my later version of the software. Although I agree with what you are saying, corporate greed helps to create their own problems. I can appreciate Cummins wanting to protect their investment, but new software and hardware is a significant investment for someone like me.
