USB loader starts but no game can be played

Wii 4.3 with HBC and USB loader
USB loader is started - the external usb HDD is recognized - the complete games list installed on the hdd is shown.
The problem is that when I select a game the screen goeas back to the wii channel screen

Any ideas.

Well I assume you've read all the other threads on this subject and nothing as fixed your problem?

Obviously your new here so no one knows you or your system so the first thing we need is a full sysCheck (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/syscheck-v2-1-0-beta-17-2071/) report as instructed in that link so we can see which wads you have installed.

Now you only say USB Loader and there are three main apps that I know of there are USB Loaders, read my sig. I'm going to assume its USB Loader GX and I assume your using the latest version 3.0. I'm told that v3.0 can be a bit buggy so download and add USB Loader GX 2.3 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/usbloader-gx-2-3-r1128-d2x-v7-mmm-13-4-1978/) to your SD card.

You could always try the other two USB Loaders CFG USB Loader (http://gbatemp.net/topic/147638-configurable-usb-loader/) and the main WiiFlow site isn't available at the moment you can Google it later or WiiFlow (http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow/downloads/list)

What type of USB external HDD do you have is it a self powered passport drive? If it is then these aren't recommended for the reason you talk about, you need a compatible mains powered drive.

Are you running this USB Loader from Homebrew or a Forwarder channel from the Wii menu?
