Hi All,
I really need help here. I am playing around with a PC running Debian. I have it running as a server with a smargo in the usb port. When running I can see that is in on bus 1, followed by a device number. Sometimes when I re-boot it will hop to bus2 or 3 and the smargo will not re recognised. I have attempted to lock the device do a specific port using the following and FTP it to udev but it does not seem to work. SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6001", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0403",
SYMLINK+="ttyUSB_%b", KERNEL=="ttyUSB[0123456789]", MODE="0666"
When working I can re-boot the system and all will be ok. However if I power down the PC completely and re start my smargo most likely will hop to bus 2 or 3 and stop working.
Thanks in advance,
Philly
