Cant confirm service W211 2007my

Cant cinfirm service reset, i selected clear service item after failed confirmation and dash now says service -25000 overdue... What to do?

You need to select Full service reset.
Then confirm.
You can do this via dash.
Ignition on , engine not running,
Go up down till you see service then press and hold reset button till you see service menu. Then look for Full service reset.

Did that and it says Service not confirmed....

You should reset the service before doing the miles, if not this is the problem that you get. It may set after the vehicle has been driven, but not always, other than that try with diagnostic equipment.

Possible with Star to reset and rewrite the whole service history .. but a pain in the ass to do .. lol

w211 after 2005, have diferent procedure for reset service
you need put 1 ingnition, then 3 times press in 1 sec.
then you will get on dash VOLTAGE POWER,
then use button on stering whele to found the service, and try to choise every service, and latter get option to comform

if it not work like this, then the KM calabration is not good,
you need to make diferents bettwen ZGW and DASH, minimum 500km.
ex: ZGW 145 000, Dash must up to 145 500km,
and then start again with srvice reseting

or use Xentry like PREMIER D say....pain in the ass :)

If you have changed miles try disconnecting battery then touch both terminals together to discharge then you should be able to confirm service happens a lot on mercs when doing by obd for future try to reset before changing miles
This always worked for me when I didn't do service first

After driving about 25 miles (40kms.) the service can be reset via the steering wheel buttons but in future always reset the service before doing anything else. Arthur.

I have same problem "service not confirmed" after km correction in zgw assyst memory.
Today i try to solve this problem with star diagnose developper mode, but i would like to know about this.
Ask for help from those who sorted out the problem.

Hey Guys,

I got the same problem. Bought a W211 some years ago and I already wasnt able to confirm Service but now I want do confirm the Services without success.
I already tried resetting the assyst control unit, after this the service is gone on the dash, with service since xxx km and days over. But this only last till the next time I start my Car and it shows again service overdue since xx km and days.

Using StarDiagnosis to re arrange the Service memory which is limited to 50 entries also wasnt working.

I'm clueless what can fix this problem. Can you give me tips to solve this problem?
