I have an Audi a4 with an instrument cluster that records in miles,is it possible to have this dump modified to calculate and display in kilometers with out messing with pin code,vin and programmed keys?

Plug in your vag cable and change codding. This is without any pins and etc.

00xx?xx: Country
0 = Germany (D)
1 = Rest of World (RoW)
2 = USA (US)
3 = Canada (CAN)
4 = Great Britain (GB)
5 = Japan (JP)
6 = Saudi Arabia
7 = Australia (AUS)

Just change 4 into 1

Any VW-Audi cluster can be done this way miles or KM.
Audi A6 till 2005 is very cool , because you can have German language in full display and miles on ODO.
