Hello all,
I have got a modded Wii what is on FW 4.0e and i did not know if it was best to update to 4.3e or not. I have seen many safe firmware updater for v4.2.

What do you all say is it best for me to say on 4.0e or move on to the new 4.3e?

I know updateing may end up killing the Wii. So i don't know what is best to do.

Is there anyway updateing the Wii with out loseing any off the softmods installed?

Thnak you :beerglass:

(http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/#) If you must update to 4.3 then create a syscheck using This (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/syscheck-v2-1-0-beta-17-2071/), to do this put it in the apps folder of your sd then run it in hbc, this will create a .csv file on the sd card. Now download Digital Kaos - Downloads - modmii 4.3.4 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/modmii-4-3-4-1405/) and run it on pc and let it auto update to the latest version. After that has been done select update softmod from the main list (or however it's worded) then copy the .csv file that syscheck created on your sd card remember to select 4.3 as your preferred version after completion, if that is still the one you want to be on...This will download all the required wads which you then transfer the wads to sd card and install using wad manager. That's your system updated you can now download Digital Kaos - Downloads - Full Cios wad pack (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/full-cios-wad-pack-1949/) and update all your game cios.
